episode 4445- 4450, aired january 30 - february 6, 2014.Vincent Berg and Eva Baumann were killed in a shoot-out, Ansgar is in custody, the Fashion Days are at risk and Marlene dismisses it as a rumor when Jessica worriedly says that the employee bonuses for the upcoming show are cancelled. Although Marlene initially believes this is something she can smooth over with the staff, she soon learns from Rebecca that this smoke has come from a large fire! The employees fears are actually true and it is down to Marlene to fix this disaster. On the one hand she can understand Rebecca's arguments in light of the difficult situation of the company. But when the employees accuse Marlene of being a Lahnstein puppet, Marlene knows she must take a stand.
